About

Bryce Zabric is a machine in the studio with the ability to engineer, mix, produce and program. You won’t find Bryce sitting around when there’s work to be done and he always delivers with enthusiasm. His high attention to detail, military background and advanced technical skills are put to good use at The Music Group and his home studio where he keeps sessions running smooth, puts on the finishing touches in mix down and even provides a variety of electronic work, including studio wiring, some gear maintenance and even Wurlitzer tuning.

When Bryce isn’t in the studio he runs live sound for local venues and is a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard. He also enjoys traveling, hiking, snowboarding and stays active in the Oklahoma City music scene.

Prior to joining The Music Group as Staff Engineer and Chief Tech, Bryce obtained degrees from The Academy of Contemporary Music, The University of Central Oklahoma, and an aviation maintenance degree from the Community College of the Air Force.

Influences

On the mixing side of things Bob Clearmountain, Chris Lorde Alge, Dave Pensado, Warren Huart, Jonathan Roye and Craig Bauer. This, of course, is a very small list. Other influences are, Motown, pretty much anything from the 80’s and 90’s, George Massenberg, big synths, drums with a lot of reverb... then add a little more, real strings and Hans Zimmer. There are just so many people and things to choose from which makes this category unfair.
